City of Seattle – operate as program manager for Central Area Collaborative, a community based activist group charged with preserving the cultural identity of African Americans within the Central Area neighborhoods of Seattle. The organization helps guide and economic development of culturally led African American small and micro-businesses through the process of maintaining place during a period of rapid gentrification within the previously redlined neighborhoods.
